AlbumArte and 90dB Festival – Winter Edition | Florian Tuercke & Fabio Perletta
Florian Tuercke (1977, Germany) presents The Structural Sound Project Rome – Part 1, a project created especially for the Festival: a participatory artwork which explores the city sounds to create an interactive sound map. The artist describes the recording methods, distributing the kits to the participants in order to place some microphones, capable of recording the sound waves flowing inside different urban structures and materials, on various locations in the city such as Ostiense and Appia Antica. Then the microphones will be mapped on an online map, accessible on the Festival website (90dbfestival.org) and by an interactive station set up in the spaces of the Ex-Cartiera Latina.
This presentation will be followed by Fabio Perletta (1984, Italy) music performance, whose artistic research investigates the perceptual relationships between space and sound waves. Fabio Perletta will present the performance Interstitial Spaces
