Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 6.30pm, will be presented at MAXXI National Museum of XXI Century Arts in Rome, the volume ALL BOOM ARTE. Italian artists at AlbumArte 2011 – 2020, AA.VV., edited by Cristina Cobianchi (Quodlibet editore, Italian/English), realized thanks to the support of the Italian Council (VIII edition, 2020) the program for the promotion of Italian contemporary art in the world of the General Direction for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture.

In it are collected 18 unpublished conversations between the artists and curators of AlbumArte: Gianluca Brogna with Grossi Maglioni, Benedetta Carpi De Resmini with Cosimo Veneziano, Anna Cestelli Guidi with Iginio De Luca, Daniela Cotimbo with Sonia Andresano, Elisa Del Prete with Angelo Bellobono, Raffaele Gavarro with Sandro Mele, Silvano Manganaro with Zaelia Bishop, Magherita Moscardini with Cristina Cobianchi, Manuela Pacella with Elena Bellantoni, Claudio Libero Pisano with Delphine Valli, Adriana Polveroni with Francesco Jodice, Marta Silvi with Dario Agati and Fabio Giorgi Alberti, Marco Trulli with Anna Raimondo, Paola Ugolini with Silvia Giambrone and Romina Bassu, Vittorio Urbani with Flavio Favelli, Saverio Verini with Sabrina Casadei and Alessandro Giannì.

The book (484 pages) is completed by five other sections that illustrate the context of AlbumArte’s research from 2011 to 2020: Anteprima, a program of residencies, video reviews and talks with Italian artists abroad; AlbumArte | VideoArtForum, an ongoing project of international video art; the chapter dedicated to performances; the project Donne (non più) anonime – conversation on femicide, a series of debates on the theme of violence against women; and the chapter that talks about all the exhibitions held with Italian artists.

The volume ALL BOOM ARTE. Italian artists at AlbumArte 2011 – 2020 wants to tell the Italian and international public not only the archive of the work done in the field of contemporary art, but also to report the presence of a group of artists and curators who actively participate in the program of exhibitions and insights, feeding the sharing and the energy of a non-profit center of independent cultural and artistic production, which has become over time a vital and inclusive platform.

The volume, which, in addition to its precious contents, is also graphically very interesting (created by Studio Ch ro mo), will be presented not only in other Italian cities, but also in six locations abroad, including parallel artistic events realized in collaboration with the hosting institution.

Coordination of the editorial project is by Fabiola Fiocco and general coordination by Marta Bracci. The cultural partners are: MAXXI – National Museum of XXI Century Arts, Rome; Roma Capitale.
