The everyday violence on women denotes a very urgent and essential need to talk more and more about this phenomenon with growing commitment, because violence is among us and anyone could be or become a victim. With the purpose of bringing forward the process started, we want to explore some of the topics and gather the ideas emerged during the first two appointments, always with the aid and experience of professionals working in the field that will deliver their knowledge, as well as the testimony of those who found themselves involved with one of the many forms of femicide.
The topic of the fourth appointment will be ‘Violence and, in particular, male violence and its consequences on minors’.
On Friday 24 March, the curator Daniela Trincia will lead a talk with:
Andrea Bernetti | He is a psychologist, psychotherapist and educator and a member of the Order of Psychologist of Lazio. He works in Rome, where he is president and founding member of Centro di Ascolto Uomini Maltrattanti di Roma (CAM Roma) as well as manager about parenthood, especially in paternity, projects. Expert on teamwork, he organizes training courses in communication and relationship skills, team building, supervision and psychodrama groups, social dreaming and further plays to discover a different way to be in a relationship and to know each other.
Cristiana Guerra | Graduated in Education Science, she has gained 10-years experience in group home for children and minors from all over the world. In 2011, in collaboration with Dr. Salatino, she opened ‘I Paguri Onlus’, a group home for young children victims of abuse, maltreatment and neglect. Currently, she is the coordinator of ‘I Paguri Onlus’.
Flavia Posabella | She is a psychologist and psychotherapist; she is also Lecturer of General Psychology and Developmental Psychology. She is skilled in family, couples, teenagers, children. She is technical consultant at the Civil Court of Rome, and she is also Deputy President of the Association ‘La.Fat.in.a. Onlus’, that promotes and takes action into the processes of child’s growth.
Stefania Salatino | She is Developmental Age Psychologist and Psychotherapist. Since 2004, she has been working in structures which host abused and mistreated minors. From 2008 to 2011 she worked at the family service center ‘Azzurra’, with regard to couple and parenthood counseling. Since 2009 she has been carrying out her activity in couple and family counseling privately.
In 2017, AlbumArte appointments will be more or less on a bi-monthly basis. The topics addressed and participating guests of each meeting will be announced from time to time.
