Gregorio Samsa wins the first edition of Rotary Prize #YouthArt in Turin with the video The Paris International Exposition, 1937 and the Guide Officiel – Exposition Internationale Paris 1937, both part of the exhibition Where is Abel? which took place at AlbumArte in June-July 2015.
Rotary #YouthArt – inside The Upcoming Art Prize, born thanks to Alessandro Marena, collector and patron died prematurely, and curated by Luca Beatrice – is supported by Rotary Club Torino Crocetta in collaboration with Associazione Alessandro Marena and created to support a young italian artist every year. The jury, chaired by Franca Pastore Marena – President of Associazione Alessandro Marena – with Giulia Tosetti, Marco Enrico Giacomelli, Irma Ciaramella and Marina Paglieri, has awarded the prize to Gregorio Samsa for his research characterised by an inedit interpretation of the past deeply rooted in modernity. The prize concerns in the acquisition of their artworks inside the association’s permanent collection.
