Adelisa Selimbašić (Malsch Kreis Karlsruhe-Germany, 1996), an Italian-Bosnian artist based in New York and a graduate of the Venice Academy of Fine Arts. She has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions including: : Dust Bunny, Z2o Sara Zanin Gallery, Roma (2024), Perché è così difficile dichiararsi?, Galleria IPERCUBO, Milano (2023); Beacon in the Bowery- Azuki Furuya, Fridman gallery, New York, USA (2023); Collective exhibitions: Soft Focus, Bradley Ertaskiran gallery, Montreal (2024); An Avarage Comet, Harkawik gallery, New York (2024). She also participated at Fountainhead residency in Miami, USA (2023). Her artworks depict full canvas bodies or faces, apparently reassuring giant body portions, joyful young women in a solo women universe, whose understanding is left to the viewer.
