Alexandra Wolframm (1971, Braunschweig, Germany) lives and works in Berlin. She studied law at the University of Hamburg (1992-1997) and from 2005 to 2008 she studied painting and video art at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma. She is co-founder of “Peninsula e.V.” (www.peninsula.land), an association of Italian and German artists based in Berlin. In her artistic practice, she explores the relationship between man and nature and the interaction between vision and imagination with interventions on the environment and landscape. She has initiated and co-curated a series of exhibition projects in Italy and Germany including “Zeichnung als Idee/Disegno idea”. She has exhibited in public and private art spaces in Germany and Italy, including: 2010, “Epicentro”, Spazio THETIS, collateral event, 12th International Architecture Exhibition, Venice; 2011, ”Lo stato dell’arte/Stato delle arti” – Academies of Fine Arts – Venice Biennale; 2020, “Carbon Dreams”, Galerie Parterre, Berlin.
