Cristina Dinello Cobianchi

Lives and works in Rome. She has worked extensively in events and conferences organisation in various international and management centers and as communication consultant for private companies. Since 2004, she is President and Project Manager of AlbumArte, a non-profit cultural association that she has founded and with which she decided, since 2011, to exclusively produce contemporary art projects. Thus since 2014 she directs the independent non-profit space of AlbumArte in Rome. She has collaborated, among others, with the MAXXI Museum, the National Gallery of Rome, the Italian Cultural Institutes of Istanbul and Prague, the Institut Français, La Real Academia de España, the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, the Culture Department of Roma Capitale, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania, the Galata Rum Okulu-Greek School of Galata in Istanbul, as well as with various independent organisations and curators both in Italy and abroad. Since 2011, her project Anteprima, a traveling programme of artist residencies, video screenings and talks, has involved international curators and around thirty artists. In 2016, she created and directed AlbumArte | VideoArtForum, an ongoing programme of video screening, exhibitions and debates on video art, AlbumArte | Residenze and AlbumArte | Flash!. She collaborates with exibart and has written numerous texts for art books, monographs and catalogues. In 2020 she won the eighth edition of Italian Council with a publication that describes all her projects with Italian artists for AlbumArte.
