Fabio Perletta

Fabio Perletta (1984) is an Italian sound artist and graphic designer, whose music focuses on the representation of the invisible, inspired by molecular structures, quantum physics and the concept of emptiness. Its characteristic aesthetic choice, developed by using special sound generators and customized software, includes both electronic composition and site-specific installations, which often explore the perceptual relationship between space and sound waves. Curator of Farmacia901 label, over the years he has worked with the network AIPS (Archivio Italiano dei Paesaggi Sonori / Archive of Italian Soundscapes), Vladislav Delay, Mark Fell, Richard Chartier, AGF, France Jobin, William Basinski, Giuserppe Ielasi and Lawrence English. In parallel to its activities in the field of sound experimentation, in 2014 he co-founded Mote, a study based in Berlin that uses visuals, sound, photography and video to develop innovative research in graphic design. Among the museums and institutes that hosted its numerous live performances, we mentioned: Museum of Modern Art, Wakayama, Japan (2019); Tsukuba Art Center, Tsukuba, Japan (2017); BlueProject Foundation, Barcelona, Spain (2014); Auditorium Parco Della Musica, Rome (2009).
