Born in Naples (Italy) in 1976, he got his Master’s degree in History of Art at the University Federico II of Naples, focusing his research on the 16th century Art Criticism with Prof. Fiorella Sriccchia Santoro; then he majored at the School of Specialization in History of the Art in Viterbo with Prof. Patrizia Mania, writing a thesis about the Portuguese Contemporary Art. He collaborated with the Archivio della Scuola Roma and with La Galleria Nazionale in Rome. He curated many exhibitions in Rome at Studio Casagrande and Ex Elettrofonica Art Gallery; furthermore, he curated a performative project by Piero Mottola at Pastificio Cerere Foundation; a performance titled ‘Florilegium’ at The Romanian Academy in Rome, and a project by artist Corrado Sassi as part of the programme of Roma Europa Festival 2008. In the last years, he created and developed the ongoing performative project La Forma del Pathos(The Form of Pathos) in collaboration with Teatro dell’Orologio and the no-profit art space AlbumArte in Rome. He was in charge to edit the general catalogue of La Galleria Nazionale di Roma – Museo MAXXI, Le Collezioni 1958-2008. Furthermore, in 2012 he curated the exhibition catalogue on artist Rui Toscano published by Cura. He regularly writes for ‘Flash Art’ and ‘Exibart’.
