Ximan Wang (1990, Shenyang, China) lives in Milan. She mainly works with performances and videos. She graduated in 2016 at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, where she began her research on gender identity and fluidity. In 2017 she participated in the performance workshop at the Labirynt Lublin Gallery in Poland led by Jürgen Fritz. In 2018 she participates in the performance workshop “Transart Communication” (Kassák Center), “Performance Train” by Marylin Arsem, between Budapest-Prague-Krakow-Bratislava. In 2019 she exhibited at GESSOISLAND Art Space in Shenyang, China – solo exhibition – participating in various performance festivals such as “ZABIH Performance Art Festival”, Lviv, Ukraine, “Up-On Live Art Festival”, Luxehills Art Museum in Chengdu, China and “Free Ferm Radicals’”, PAErsche, Köln, Germany.
