Zaelia Bishop was born in Rome in November 1977. His work – between collage and assemblage – aims to bring back and transfigure the symbols and boundaries of personal and collective memory in a contemporary context. Since 2016, he writes and directs the video-project Chasing Boundaries with Emanuele Napolitano. This project explores and describes the artistic and socio-political realities of countries with complex identities, through stories that unfold without any filter from the artists.
