ALL BOOM ARTE Artisti/e Italiani/e ad AlbumArte 2011 – 2020 | Italian artists at AlbumArte 2011 – 2020 (Quodlibet editore), is the volume edited by Cristina Cobianchi with the editorial coordination of Fabiola Fiocco and the general coordination of Marta Bracci, winner of the Italian Council (VIII° Edition, 2020), the program for the promotion of Italian contemporary art in the world of the General Direction for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture.
The protagonists of the book, in a double Italian-English version, are the Italian artists who have participated in AlbumArte’s program of exhibitions and activities from 2011 to 2020 in Italy and abroad, and the rich community they have managed to form around this independent non-profit cultural and artistic production center based in Rome. An important part of the book is dedicated to 18 unpublished conversations between the artists and curators of AlbumArte. The book, aesthetically beautiful, with a special and innovative graphic layout, (Studio CH RO MO) is divided into sections that illustrate the context of AlbumArte’s research: Anteprima Italian artists abroad with AlbumArte; AlbumArte | VideoArtForum; AlbumArte | performance; The project Women (no longer) anonymous – confrontation on feminicide; together with images and texts related to all the exhibitions and projects carried out with them.

“That of being able to form a community around our projects has been ‘the dream to be realized’ since the beginning of my adventure in contemporary art. The strength of AlbumArte has been the will to share with courage, curiosity and coherence an intellectual and artistic space opening to new contents and new visions. I tried to explain our journey in this book and to tell it by including as many voices as possible, because this was the task I had assigned myself.” (cc)
