Marinella Senatore è nata a Cava dei Tirreni nel 1977. Vive a Berlino. Lavora con il video, la fotografia, il disegno, l’installazione e il suono. Molte delle sue opere, spesso sviluppate in collaborazione con istituzioni come musei e università, coinvolgono intere comunità nel processo creativo: il pubblico partecipa come co-sceneggiatore, attore, scenografo, operatore. Nell’incontro tra eventi personali e processi collettivi, realtà e finzione,
i suoi progetti raccontano una serie complessa di relazioni, favorendo la costruzione di un archivio di narrazioni condivise, capaci di creare un senso di comunità.
